| Magnificent peaks almost soaring up into the
clouds and snowy domes, fencing themselves off with toothed
brick walls and rugged rocky crests ..... gorges, elegantly
embellished with crystal clear rivers & rivulets and alpine
meadows, adding frills to the snowy summits ..... glaciers
suspended like laces from the cliffs with a few unpredictable
colossal bulks between the ranges ...... that is the natural
splendor of Tien Shan, one of the world's spectacular mountain
fairylands. Indeed, it is a sight to behold. You'll find them
all in our trekking programs. |

Meandering ways of the famous Silk Route, passing through
Central Asia's historical countries, stretches gorgeously for
thousands of kilometers, from the East to the West - as an
enormous two-way river, with innumerable tributaries. The
history of the Silk Route dates back to 500 BC when trade
caravans went around the Caspian Sea to Iran and continued
through Lenkoran to Baku, Shamakhi, Sheki and so on, through
Turkey to Europe or from Khiva through the Northern coast of the
Caspian Sea to Caucasus countries and further to the North
and West. |
